Roadmap to Success
When you invest in a retail energy supply system you are making an investment for at least 5-10 years. In this period you will expect the system to grow with you and adapt to new business requirements and market changes.
EDW has an on-going programme of research and development and this, coupled with client enhancement work, means ERS is constantly evolving. Here is where EDW currently intends to take ERS in the next three years:
| 2012 | 2013 | 2014 |
|
Management of generation (export meters & PPAs)
Demand & generation forecasting FiT (CfD) managementFlexible product pricing Industry cost managementData warehouse capability supporting off line reporting |
CVA industry interaction management
EDI capability for inter-system data transfer and transformation Time series data management and analytics |
Gas – extension of ERS to support gas retail (pricing, metering and billing) |
EDW provides regular maintenance releases to ensure that the ERS product remains industry compliant, supporting Master Registration Agreement and Balancing & Settlement Code changes covering the Data Transfer Catalogue, Market Domain Data and Electricity Central Online Enquiry Service Database.
In addition to the major extensions to the Energy Retail Suite software detailed in our Road Map, EDW has an active programme of enhancement work – both customer initiated and internally funded research and development. These enhancements are delivered via our regular maintenance release roll out process.
