Monday 28/02 – BEIS proposes to hold an Industrial Hydrogen Accelerator (IHA) competition to support projects generating evidence on end-to-end industrial fuel switching to hydrogen.
Friday 25/02 – Ofgem publishes its decision to descope Distribution Use of System (DUoS) charges from the Access Significant Code Review (SCR) and launch a dedicated SCR for DUoS charge reform.
Thursday 24/02 – BEIS announces that the Minister for Energy Greg Hands and Belgium’s Minister for Energy Tinne Van der Straeten have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on energy cooperation.
Wednesday 23/02 – National Grid ESO publishes the results of its T-4 Capacity Auction for delivery in 2025/26. A total 42,364.314MW was procured across 574 Capacity Market Units (CMUs) at a clearing price of £30.59/kW.

Thursday 10/02 – The House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee launches an energy supply and investment inquiry.
Wednesday 09/02 – The UK Government announces that it will be increasing the frequency of the Contracts for Difference auctions for funding to annually, as opposed to every two years.
Tuesday 08/02 – Welsh Government announces that it would invest more than £8.1bn in green infrastructure as part of its new Infrastructure Investment Strategy.
Monday 07/02 – BEIS announces that £179mn has been offered to 69 projects through its Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund.
