Friday 17/06 – The government publishes a letter from the Minister of State for Energy, Clean Growth and Climate Change, Greg Hands to National Grid Electricity System Operator, regarding the Capacity Market auction determination.
Monday 13/06 – Ofgem issues its consultation on part two of the administration of the Energy Company Obligation phase four (ECO4). ECO4 runs from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2026.
Tuesday 14/06 – The government announces that it has made progress towards implementing a new funding model for nuclear projects. The government announces that it is closing the plug-in car grant scheme to concentrate funding towards the main barriers to the electric vehicle (EV) transition.
Wednesday 15/06 – The report phase consultation for P432 Half Hourly Settlement for CT Advanced Metering Systems issues.
Thursday 16/06 – The UK Government issues a response to its Recovering the costs of heat networks regulation consultation
Friday 10/06 – The Welsh Government announced that it would provide £4mn in new support to vulnerable households through a fuel voucher scheme.
Thursday 09/06 – The UK Government sets out a range of actions to improve the resilience of electricity networks in GB for future extreme weather events.
Wednesday 08/06 – The government publishes a consultation seeking views on its proposals to improve liquidity in the 2023 Capacity Market (CM) auctions.
Tuesday 07/06 – The Scottish Government announces the launch of its Low Income Winter Heating Assistance, which it states will provide support to around 400,000 low income households through a guaranteed annual winter heating benefit of £50.
Monday 06/06 – Transport Scotland announces that the Scottish Government is providing over £30mn this financial year to accelerate the shift to zero emission transport.
