Wednesday 31/05 – The Competition and Markets Authority publishes a report examining the challenges faced by consumers looking to buy green home heating technologies.
Tuesday 30/05 – Ofgem publishes the draft version of the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) supplier administration guidance. The draft guidance has been prepared to allow stakeholders to review Ofgem’s proposed administration of the scheme, with feedback requested by 30 June 2023.

Friday 26/05 – The UK Government responds to the Welsh Affairs Committee’s report, Floating Offshore wind (FLOW) in Wales, stating that it is committed to “placing the UK at the forefront” of floating offshore wind.
Thursday 25/05 – Ofgem announces that Default Tariff Cap level will be set at £2,074 for cap period 10b (1 July to 30 September 2023) for a dual fuel household paying by direct debit based on typical consumption.

Tuesday 23/05 – The Social Market Foundation (SMF) publishes a report, tilted We can’t keep heating like this: A fairer deal for heat networks highlighting that 900,000 households on heat networks risk facing increases to their energy bills, by 700% in some cases.
Monday 22/05 – Ofgem publishes a direction to create eight new RIIO-2 re-opener application windows in which licensees can apply for changes to their Cyber OT, Cyber IT, and Non-Operational IT Capex re-opener allowances.
